CHANDIGARH: The Amarinder Singh government on Saturday put a restriction on utilization of signals on government vehicles, outside go of pastors for a long time and sorting out of meals on state cost, in an offer to end VIP culture in Punjab.
The committee of pastors took this "noteworthy" choice in their first bureau meeting here to get rid of the VIP culture in the state, he said.
The representative said the bureau has chosen to stop the utilization of red guides and those of different hues, it has put a two-year restriction on remote go of all pastors and MLAs on state cost, and prohibited feasts or suppers at government cost.
The bureau has chosen that remote travel will be permitted where it is so commanded or gave and under respective plan, he stated, including another strategy utilization of guides on vehicles will soon be informed.
Pay, remittances and repayments for MLAs will be refreshed each month on the official site and would be made open, the representative said.
