New Delhi: Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave passed away on Thursday.
Dave was an individual from the Rajya Sabha since 2009. He was confirmed as a Minister of State with autonomous charge of condition, woods and environmental change in 2016.
President Pranab Mukherjee mourned the sudden death of Environment Minister, saying that it was an individual misfortune.
"Stunned by sudden death of Union Environment Minister Shri Anil Dave; most profound sympathies to his family and well wishers," the President tweeted.
